I have 15 years experience executing strategic communications programs and generating news coverage for trade and non-profit organizations. In addition to writing bylined articles for websites and magazines, I reinforce branding and communicate the objectives and policy positions of organizations with issue backgrounders, news releases, policy statements and opinion pieces. I organize extensive on-site newsrooms at annual meetings and conventions. For example, while managing the operation at the AAAS Annual Meeting working, I registered more than 1,000 working reporters and scheduled 30 news briefings.
